Weather Impact celebrates 10 years!
In 2014, Gerrit Hiemstra and Arnold Lobbrecht recognized an untapped opportunity to bridge meteorology and water management, creating a powerful synergy to deliver impactful weather information services. Their vision led to the founding of Weather Impact, a company dedicated to providing essential weather and climate insights for diverse users worldwide.
As we celebrate a decade of innovation, we’re proud to reflect on our journey. Today, our services already support up to 1 million farmers, empowering them with the weather and climate information they need. We have always worked – and still work – with a dedicated team, who is committed to continue growing and expanding our positive impact!
To mark this special occassion, we are reflecting on the past ten years through a serie of interviews, speaking to both former and current colleagues who have helped shape Weather Impact into the company it is today.
