Extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain, storm, thunderstorms, drought and extreme temperatures are monitored worldwide by our meteorologists and warning systems. Our applications smartly combine real-time and historical data and forecasts with user risk profiles. For each client tailored and personal risk-thresholds can be determined to ensure timely and relevant alerts. We want to support our clients and help them to protect their people, assets and bottom line.<\/p>\n

The figure above provides a daily updated extreme weather alert for Sub-Sahara Africa. Alerts are provided for a chance on heavy rainfall, strong winds, high maximum temperatures and low minimum temperatures.<\/p>\n
\n
- The rainfall alerts are provided for values from 20 mm (light green) to 75 mm (dark green)<\/li>\n
- The wind alerts range from winds above 15 m\/s (light purple) to 30 m\/s (dark purple)<\/li>\n
- The maximum temperature alerts warn for values from 40 degrees Celsius (light red) to 50 degrees Celsius (dark red)<\/li>\n
- The minimum temperature alert starts for night temperatures below 5 degrees C (light blue) to values below -5 degrees C (dark blue).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
