Capacity building is part of our ongoing project in Zimbabwe, an important element to strengthen the skills of the relevant staff of national meteorological and agricultural institutes. Our purpose is to train agents to access, analyze and visualize meteorological data. Today\u00a0Weather Impact\u00a0gave an introduction to the Python programming language which marks the first step in this series of, in total, three trainings!
\nDifferent agents from the Meteorology Services Department and from the Agricultural Technical Extension and Advisory Services (AGRITEX) Department joined today\u2019s session. We train them to use tools like Python and QGIS and aim at providing everyone with valuable learning content to advance their skills.
